I am back in the keep-your-website-up-to-date business. I fell way behind. But it's not easy writing songs, learning them, playing gigs, being a doting grandfather, and keeping a damned website up to date.
But I'm told that you actually do visit here and when I'm not up to date you wander off to other less inspirational places as a result. And then I start feeling personally responsible for your cultural deprivation.
Well no more! You have reminded me that I am about two months out of date and thus my lyrics are getting old also.
They're going to turn into screamers, nere-do-wells and cranks, When the government decides to nationalize the banks. It's coming in a week or two there's little question 'bout it. I don't think there's any reason anyone should doubt it.
Searching ever searching for some real fiscal solutions, the USA is soon to start some lending institutions. Beware shareholders will soon will be lead out to pastures green,
All alone to graze and wonder what does it all mean.
The US Bank and Trust company will soon be in full swing, Citibank will all too soon not be a worth a thing. A lousy situation where no solution seems right, but Banks just want their bailout dough so they can just sit tight.
The USA Bank and Trust will soon be cranking out loans, As the conservative banking community cries and moans and groans. But Capitalism tries to say that when you fail you fold, Lots of bank are soon to find themselves out in the cold.
Then you'll hear conservatives gnash their teeth and wail, Why the banking system was not about to fail. A little more bailout money would have saved the day, Til all those lousy mortgages simply went away.
